A gift

Give someone a companion of their own.

A plan for a time, a companion you designed for them, something for it to wear: any one, or all three. You pay once. Nothing renews, and they are never asked for a card.

Diwali is on Sunday, November 8: a gift can arrive that morning.

What would you like to give?

One, two or all three.

A plan, for a time

Paid once. It ends on its day.

A companion, designed by you

Free to give

Choose its character, its look and its name. Its eyes are left for the person it is for: they grow its iris when they open your gift, and it is theirs alone.

Something to wear

Theirs for keeps

From the kiosk. What you choose is theirs once the gift is opened, for any companion they make.

Who is it for?

Their name is written on the gift; yours, so they know who it is from.

How it reaches them
When it arrives

A letter from the house reaches them at once, with the gift’s code and a link to open it.

A few words

They read them before they open it.

How a gift works

One code. Opened once. Theirs.

Opened with a code

Twelve letters and digits, in a letter from the house or from your own hand. One adult opens it, once, in a free account.

Its eyes are theirs

A companion you give arrives without eyes. The person it is for grows its iris, and no iris is ever grown twice.

Nothing to pay, nothing to cancel

A plan that is given runs for its time and ends on its day. If they already pay for a plan, yours waits its turn.

What can I give?

A plan for a time (Plus or Pro, for one month, three or twelve), a companion you designed for them, things for it to wear, or any of these together. One gift has one code.

Does the person I give to need a card?

No. They open the gift with its code, in a free account, and are never asked for a card. Nothing renews. Like everything in the house, a gift is for adults, 18 and over.

When does it arrive?

At once, or at 8 in the morning on a day you choose, up to a year ahead. Or take the code yourself and give it by hand.

Can I give to someone in another country?

Yes. You pay in your own money, and they open it wherever they are. One exception: a gift bought at the prices for India is opened in India.

What if they already pay for a plan?

The plan you gave waits, and begins the day their own plan ends. Two gifts run one after the other. A gift does not expire.

Can I take a gift back?

Until it is opened, yes, from your account: its code stops working and your payment returns to you in full. A card payment can be returned for 90 days; after that the gift simply stays open. Once it is opened, it is theirs.

Will I see what they say to it?

No. The house tells you that your gift was opened, and nothing more. What they make and what they say are theirs alone.

Nobody is paid for another person’s entry. A gift is an honour, and the giver gains nothing by it.
