KWIK-L is in beta. The product is changing, and these terms will change with it. We will tell you here, and by email, before anything that affects you takes effect.
Plain version: use KWIK-L for yourself, do not use it to hurt anyone, do not copy the characters, and understand that it is software rather than a person or a professional.
These terms are between you and KWIK L Inc. Using KWIK-L means you accept them. You must be 18 or older.
KWIK-L is an AI companion. It is not a person, and it is not a doctor, lawyer, therapist or financial adviser. It can be wrong, confidently. Do not rely on it for medical, legal or financial decisions, and if you are in crisis please contact a real service where you live.
It answers by sending your conversation to a third-party AI provider. Those providers change, improve and occasionally fail. Which one answers a given message is our choice, not yours.
Keep your email secure — anyone with access to it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@kwikl.com if you think someone else has got in.
Use KWIK-L to break the law, to harass, threaten or endanger anyone, or to generate material that sexualises children. Attempt to extract our prompts, models or character assets. Resell or redistribute the service. Automate abuse of it, or work around the limits and caps. Use it to build a competing product from its outputs.
We may suspend an account that does these things. Suspension locks access while keeping your data; we will tell you why, and you can reply.
The eight KWIK-L companion forms, their faces, their light, the spark, and the system that keeps them recognisable as one being across forms, are the intellectual property of KWIK L Inc. Your account gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to your own companion: to use it in the product, to share pictures of it, and to hold one physical reproduction per order you actually place.
It does not let you resell the design, redistribute the character assets, reproduce beyond what you ordered, use the characters in another product, or use them as training data. Full detail is in our rights notice.
What you say to KWIK-L stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you — to store it, to show it back to you, and to pass it to an AI provider so it can be answered.
A reservation is not a purchase. Nothing is charged at reservation and nothing ships until you are asked and agree. The chipped physical unit is designed and not manufactured; we will not pretend otherwise, and we will not take money for it before it exists.
We will try to keep KWIK-L running and will not promise a number we cannot hold. There are limits on how much a single account can use in a day, and on total monthly usage; when one is reached KWIK-L says so and resumes later.
KWIK-L Release B is free. If paid plans arrive, existing terms will not change retroactively without notice.
You can delete your account whenever you like, from your settings, and it is permanent. We may end your access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.
KWIK-L is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you take on its advice. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
KWIK-L is in beta and is provided as it is. Features can change or be withdrawn, there is no uptime guarantee, and bugs are expected. Your conversations and memories are backed up daily, but you should keep your own copy of anything that matters — Settings will export everything at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
