This policy explains what KWIK L Inc (“KWIK L”, “we”) collects through kwikl.com and the KWIK L application, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do. KWIK L Inc is based in Denver, Colorado, United States.
What we collect, and why
When you use the free check
What you typed, the public pages of the website you asked about, the result, the time, and a one-way code made from your internet address (not the address itself), so we can limit abuse. We use it to show you the result, to serve the same result again for a few hours, and to improve the check. Readings are deleted after 12 months, unless you started an account from one. KWIK L's own readings of the websites shown on Our own numbers are kept; they are readings of public company websites and hold no personal data.
When you share your score
If you press Share under a free check, that reading's website, score, number of checks passed and date become public: anyone with the link can open it, and the badge shows the score wherever it is placed. The page shows nothing else, but the link carries the reading's number, and with it the rest of the reading (what KWIK L read from the website's public pages) can also be opened. A share ends after 12 months at most; to take one down sooner, write to privacy@kwikl.com with its link. Anyone can check any website, so a website's owner can ask us to take down a share of it too.
When you talk to IRIS
IRIS is an AI agent. We keep the conversation, the pages you were on, any website IRIS checked for you, your name and email if you choose to give them, and a one-way code made from your internet address, so that a person at KWIK L can reply and follow up. Conversations are deleted after 12 months. If you give your email, the conversation is also passed to our team as a message (see the next part). Your messages are sent to an AI model provider to write IRIS's answers (see below).
When you write to us or keep your plan
What you send through the contact form, under your free check or to IRIS with your email: your email, and your name, company, website and message if you add them, and a one-way code made from your internet address. We use it to reply and follow up, keep it while we are in touch, and delete it when you ask.
When you have an account
Your name and email, your business profile, your plan, the businesses on your list, the messages you approve and what you mark as came back, and how you use credits. When you sign in we record the internet address and browser you used, to keep your account secure. We use all of it to run the service you chose and to show you what it did.
When you pay
Card payments are taken by Stripe, under its own privacy policy; KWIK L never receives your card number. From Stripe we receive and keep your email, your name and the website you gave if you add them, what you bought, the amount, the currency, and Stripe's references for the payment, the customer and the plan. We use them to deliver what you bought and to keep the accounts, and keep them as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Public business information
To help our customers reach businesses that may need them, KWIK L and its team use public sources, such as company websites, public news and public filings. We keep business information, not private lives. Any business can ask not to be contacted through KWIK L on the remove my business page; it applies across KWIK L at once.
AI providers
IRIS's answers and some lines of the free check are written by AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI, through their APIs. They receive only what the task needs, and their API terms say they do not use it to train their models. The full list is on the sub-processors page.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal data.

- We don't use one customer's content to serve another.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you. With an account, export and deletion are in the application under Settings. Otherwise write to privacy@kwikl.com. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union you may also complain to your data protection authority.
Where data is held
On a server KWIK L rents from Hostinger, as listed on the sub-processors page. Like any web server, it keeps technical logs of requests, including internet addresses, to keep the service running and secure.
Children
KWIK L is a service for businesses and is not meant for children.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
