How it was made

By the house, on your device.

Painted, not filmed

Every frame is painted where you watch it: the house’s own pictures of the Cast, an iris grown from a seed, and the things the kiosk draws. There is no footage in it, and nothing made by an image model.

Music made of sine waves

The score is arithmetic: a few sine waves to each note, and one bell to each decade, climbing. It begins in the narrow sound of a wireless set and opens as the years pass. No recording is played.

The same eyes

The look changes eleven times and the eyes never do. Once you have made a companion they are your own iris, in every decade. The film is made on your device, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Questions

How long is the film?

Forty-five seconds: an iris, a companion, eleven decades from the 1940s to the 2040s, and one line at the end.

Was it made with an AI video model?

No. Every frame is painted by the page from the house’s own pictures of the Cast, an iris grown from a seed, and the things the kiosk draws. There is no footage in it and nothing generated by an image or video model.

Where does the music come from?

It is made on your device, by arithmetic: a few sine waves to each note, one bell to each decade. No recording and no sample is played.

Whose eyes are in it?

The house’s own, until you make a companion. After that, every look in the film wears your iris.

Can I keep the film?

Yes, on a current browser. It is written on your device as an MP4, frame by frame, and saved there. Nothing is uploaded.

Can I wear what the companions wear?

Yes. The eleven looks are the Decades collection: try each one on free in the studio, and keep one for a small price, paid once.

There is only one of you.

Free to design. Ready in about two minutes.
